Ode

Ode for my Shoes

You are the one that I meet everyday,

at home, at school, and everywhere else.

I can’t imagine a single day not with you,

because you are so special and precious to me.

You wrap up each of my toes, 5 in total

and keep them warm in the white cloth you have.

I love to put you in boots so that later

I don’t feel cold outside and so do you.

Now is the time to put you back on,

on to my little, cold wintery toes.

The weather has been icing and in fact that means,

I should buy more of you so please keep me warm.
